Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team on Upwork. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth through strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


- Identify Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities on Upwork.

- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

- Proposal Writing: Create compelling and customized proposals to win new business.

- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.

- Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.

- Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure favorable deals for the company.

- Collaboration:Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies.


Qualifications:


- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably on platforms like Upwork.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Skills:

  - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  - Excellent proposal writing and presentation abilities.

  - Proficiency in market research and analysis.

  - Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.

- Technological Proficiency:  Familiarity with CRM software and business development tools.
