Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

           Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Assist in defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure seamless communication among team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.

            Resource Management:

  • Assist in allocating and managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Support in identifying resource needs and coordinating procurement activities.
  • Track resource utilization and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.

            Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate project status, milestones, and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing project-related documentation, such as proposals, budgets, and contracts.

            Stakeholder Management:

  • Support in building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and other project-related events.
  • Address stakeholder inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

            Risk Management:

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and escalate potential risks and issues to the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement risk response plans and contingency measures.

            Team Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and maintaining project files.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive Background of Project Management with 3-4 years of experience
  • ACCA (Completed)/ CA (Inter)/ Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as project management, business administration, engineering, or a similar discipline).
  • Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
